Geomorphological sedimentary characteristics in the coastal area of Ma river delta, Thanh Hoa province

چکیده

The coastal area of the Ma river delta is formed by interaction continental and marine processes, between neo-tectonic activities exogenous natural factors human during Late Holocene. Using remote sensing geoscience research methods (granulometry, paleontology, geochemistry, clay mineralogy) geomorphological studies (geneses, morphology, dynamics) combined with field survey, this area, except denuded mountainous remnants, could be distinguished into 12 morpho-sedimentary units developed dynamic interactions river, waves tides. fluvial dynamics include: 1) Point bar composed clayey silt sandy silt, 2) Channel silty sand, 3) Levee composition sand 4) flood plain clay. Holocene evolution was dominated wave dynamics, reflected a wave-formed association dunes, interdune swamps current beaches. include 5) Dune’s 6) Back-dune depressions clay, 7) Beach 8) Lagoon 9) Strand sand. tide-influenced 10) Supratidal flat 11) Intertidal characterized or interbedded thin fine layers, 12) Subtidal
